For doing namaskara -

अन्तेवासिवर्य-श्रीमत्-शङ्करविजयेन्द्र सरस्वती-श्रीपादानाम्

तदन्तेवासिवर्य-श्रीमत्-सत्यचन्द्रशेखरेन्द्र-सरस्वती-श्रीपादानां च

चरण-नलिनयोः सप्रश्रयं साञ्जलिबन्धं च नमस्कुर्मः ॥

paramahaṃsa-parivrājakācārya-varya-jagadguru-śrīmat-śaṅkarabhagavatpādācāryāṇām adhiṣṭhāne

antevāsivarya-śrīmat-śaṅkaravijayendra-sarasvatī-śrīpādānām

tadantevāsivarya-śrīmat-satyacandraśekharendra-sarasvatī-śrīpādānāṃ ca

caraṇa-nalinayoḥ sapraśrayaṃ sāñjalibandhaṃ ca namaskurmaḥ ||

svasti: Auspicious prayer, meaning "may all be well".

śrīmad-akhila bhūmaṇḍalā-alaṅkāra: Divine alankara or glory of the entire Bhumandala or Earth.

trayas triṃśat koṭi-devatā sevita: Honoured by the thirty-three crore devatas;

śrī kāmākṣī-devī-sanātha: Presided over by Sri Kamakshi Devi, the form of the Goddess at Kanchipuram;

śrīmad-ekāmra-nātha-śrī-mahādevī-sanātha-śrī-hasti-girinātha: Presided over by Sri Ekamranatha (the form of Lord Shiva in Kanchipuram in the Ekambareswarar or Ekambaranathar temple) and Sri Hastigirinatha (form of Lord Vishnu in the Sri Varadaraja divya-desam temple in Kanchipuram);

sākṣātkāra-param-ādhiṣṭhāna: The great place where sakshatkara or the divine realization (or perception or experience) happened;

satyavrata-nāmāṅkita-kāñcī-divya-kṣetre: The sacred region of Kanchi, named Satyavrata (in the Bhagavata Purana, Kanchipuram is mentioned as Satyavratakshetra, after the King Satyavrata who ruled over it. The King is also said to be Vaivasvata Manu);

śāradāmaṭha-susthitānāṃ: Well-established in the Sringeri Sharada Matha, which is the Dakshinamanaya peetham established by Sri Adishankara Bhagavatpada.

atulita-sudhārasa-mādhurya: Incomparable sweetness of the nectar (of jnana);

kamalāsana-kāminī – Goddess seated on a lotus,

dhammilla – her hair braid with ornaments in a bun,

saṃphulla – blossomed mallikā mālikā – jasmine garland;

niḥṣyanda – flowing, jharī - river, makaranda – nectar;

sauvastika – auspicious, blessing-vāṅgni-words (teachings), gumpha – strung or arranged together

vijṛmbhaṇa-ānanda – Blossoming happiness, tundilita – overflowing manīṣi-maṇḍalānāṃ – circle or group of sages: The blossoming and overflowing happiness of the circle of sages;

anavaratā-continuous, advaita-vidyā – Advaita knowledge, vinoda-rasikānān – enjoyers of the bliss;

nirantarā-continuously, ālankṛti-kṛta – adorned with or bearing, śānti – peace, dānti – patience or self-restraint, bhūmnām – of the world's: who are continuously bearing the earth's peace and self-restraint;

sakala bhuvana-cakra-pratiṣṭhāpaka – one who established the cycle of the entire world, śrīcakra-pratiṣṭhā vikhyāta: Renowed or honored for establishing the Sri Chakra. yaśo-(a)laṅkṛtānān – adorned with illustrious fame.

nikhila-complete or entire, pāṣaṇḍa-ṣaṇḍa – collection of false or improper philosophies, kaṇṭa-kotpāṭanena – pulling out the thorns by their roots, viśadīkṛta -explain or clarify, veda-vedānta-mārga – the path of Veda and Vedanta, ṣaṇmata-pratiṣṭhāpakā-ācāryāṇāṃ: - the Acharyas who established the shanmatas or the six systems of worship for the primary Gods.

paramahaṃsa parivrājakācārya-varya- jagadguru -śrīmat-śaṃkara-bhagavatpādā-ācāryāṇāṃ: varya: is respected or eminent, ācārya – spiritual teacher, parivrājaka – a Sanyasi, paramahaṃsa – has achieved the highest form of jnanam or knowledge of AtmaN, jagadguru - Jagadguru or Guru of the entire world, śrīmat-śaṃkara-bhagavatpādā - Sri Adi Shankara Bhagavatpada (divine feet).

adhiṣṭhāne siṃhāsana-abhiṣikta-śrīmat jayendra sarasvatī śrīpādānām: Then to the auspicious feet of the eminent Sri Jayendra Saraswati, enthroned on the divine seat.

ante-vāsi-varya śrīmatt-śankara- vijayendra-sarasvatī śrīpādānām: Then to the auspicious feet of the eminent Sri Vijayendra Saraswati Mahaswamigal, the resident Jagadguru;

tadantevāsivarya-śrīmat-satyacandraśekharendra-sarasvatī-śrīpādānāṃ ca - Then to the auspicious feet of the eminent Sri Satya Chandrashekarendra Saraswati Mahaswamigal, the Successor-Designate Jagadguru;

caraṇa-nalinayoh sapraśrayaṃ sāñjalibandhaṃ ca namaskurmaḥ: to their lotus-like feet, with folded hands and devotion, I offer my namaskArams.

Kānchi Swasti Vachanam is a series of highly respectful titles describing the Kānchi Kamakoti Peetham and its Guru Parampara or lineage of Jagadgurus.

These first set of verses describe and honor Kanchipuram and the śrī-kāñcī-kāmakoṭi-pīṭham.

May all be well with the world. The divine glory on Earth, honored by thirty-three crore devatas, presided over by Sri Kamakshi Devi, Sri Ekamranatha and Sri Hastigirinatha, the great place where sakshatkara or the divine realization happened, the sacred region of Kanchi, also named Satyavrata, well-established in the Sharada Matha.

These second set of verses describe the teachings of the Gurus that lead to jnana –

As the Goddess seated on the lotus has her hair braided with a garland of jasmine blossoms, the incomparable sweetness of the nectar of jnana, flows like a river of nectar with auspicious words (teachings) arranged together.

The third set of verses then honor the great achievements of the Guru Parampara of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham -

The blossoming and overflowing happiness of the circle of sages; Continuous enjoyers of the bliss of Advaita Vidya; who are continuously bearing the earth's peace and self-restraint.

The Acharyas who uprooted out the entire thorny collection of false or improper philosophies, clarified the path of the Vedas and Vedanta, and established the shanmatas or the six systems of worship to the primary Gods

The final set of verses then name the current Guru Parampara of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham and pay our namaskArams and worship them –

The eminent acharya or spiritual teacher, a Sanyasi who has achieved the highest form of jnanam or knowledge of AtmaN, Jagadguru or Guru of the entire world, we worship the divine feet of Sri Adi Shankara Bhagavatpada.

Followed by, the auspicious feet of the eminent Srimad Jayendra Saraswati Mahaswamigal, enthroned on the divine seat.

Then to the auspicious feet of the eminent Sri Vijayendra Saraswati Mahaswamigal, the resident Jagadguru.

Then to the auspicious feet of the eminent Sri Satya Chandrashekarendra Saraswati Mahaswamigal, the Successor-Designate Jagadguru.

To their lotus-like feet, with folded hands and devotion, I offer my namaskArams.
