Ācharya Ravi Kiran Mahaṅkāli

TEACHER, SCHOLAR AND PRIEST

Ācharya Ravi Kiran Mahaṅkāli is a dedicated teacher in this lineage and currently serves as a priest at the Chinmaya Saraswati Āśram and Devī Temple in Orange, Connecticut, USA. He previously studied at and served the Śṛṅgeri Śārada Pīṭham for many years, including performing daily Ganapati Homam at the Vijaya Gaṇapati Temple in Hyderabad for over five years. He received extensive training under respected teachers, studying classical Hindu texts, ritual traditions, and methods of worship within the Smārta lineage. His training includes advanced study of foundational śāstras and formal instruction in the Ṣoḍaśopacāra and other traditional observances, learned through direct guidance. In addition to his priestly training, Śrī Ravi Kiran Garu continues higher studies in Sanskrit grammar and classical literature, including the major poetic works of the tradition. Through continued study, disciplined practice, and teaching, he upholds the ideals of the Guru–Śiṣya paramparā and carries this living tradition forward with care and integrity.

Ācharya Śiva Pochimcherla serves as a teacher in the Pāṭhaśālā with a deep sense of gratitude and responsibility toward both learning and teaching. With over 25 years of experience as a digital transformation leader at top global consulting firms, he has worked closely with governmental and Fortune 500 organizations across multiple industries, guiding change through technology, enterprise strategy, and thoughtful leadership. His exposure to AI, enterprise architecture, and large-scale program transformation brings a practical and structured perspective, which he applies to building Vedic institutions that are sustainable, well governed, and prepared to serve generations of students. Rooted deeply in paramparā, Siva learned Krishna Yajur Veda Mūlam through guru-mukhata patham under Brahmaśrī Sannidhanam Srinivasa Sharma garu and continues his Vedānta studies in the Arsha Vidya Gurukulam lineage of Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati, under various acharyas. He sees himself as a humble samidhā in the Dharma Mahā Yajña - seeking to understand the true intent of Sanātana Ṛṣi vākya and help bring that wisdom into daily practice. His role in the Pathashala is guided by this spirit of continuous learning and quiet service, nurturing the institution to uphold adhyayana, anuṣṭhāna, and avagāhana for current and future generations.

SENIOR TEACHER AND GUIDE IN DEVOTIONAL STUDY

Smt. Sivakama Sundari Garu brings over three decades of teaching experience to her role, having served as a mathematics teacher for 32 years, including 15 years with Kendriya Vidyalayas and later at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Jubilee Hills. Across these years, she shaped generations of students with discipline, clarity, and care, earning deep respect as an educator committed to both learning and character formation. Following retirement, she has fully dedicated themselves fully to Dharma Prachāra, guided by the direct mandate and blessings of Jagadguru Śrī Bhāratī Tīrtha Mahāsvāmī of Śṛṅgeri. Their family has been deeply rooted in the Śṛṅgeri Guru Paramparā for generations, receiving guidance and anugraha from the Jagadgurus. They have collectively taught over five hundred students, guiding the study and recitation of Soundarya Laharī and Śivānanda Laharī, and have conducted regular pārāyaṇams in temples on a weekly basis, including large-scale ones like the Lakṣa Gāla Soundarya Laharī Pārāyaṇam held in 2022. Her teaching reflects the maturity, steadiness, and depth that come from long years of disciplined study, devotion, and service.

Śrīmatī Prasanna Garu has been devotedly teaching Sampradāya Vidyā to bālikās for the past five years, guiding them with care, patience, and steady discipline. Through her instruction, students are gently introduced to the values of śraddhā, saṃskāra, and bhakti, learning not only recitation and practice but also reverence and conduct rooted in tradition. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and continues her studies in Sanskrit Vyākaraṇam and classical Kāvyas under highly qualified gurus. Alongside formal learning, she exemplifies Sanātana Dharma through daily practice—living with śraddhā, sāttvika simplicity, and a spirit of quiet sevā. Her teaching reflects this integration of study, discipline, and devotion, offering young students a clear and steady model of dharmic living.
